2/27/00
Went to Haulover canal for some shrimping and caught a 46" redfish!! Not many
shrimp 3 dozen of medium size
3/2/00 Went to sebastian
inlet for the early outgoing tide and caught 4 reds 44" to 36" . weather was
clear and the water 72 degrees.Caught them on those shrimp I catch shrimping.
Saw shrimpers but didn't see much dipping.
3/5/00 Went to Augalley
Causway bridge and caught a couple reds 32" & 36"
3/13/00 Took a break from
fishing and went to Samsula Fla. for Bike Week 2000 for the cole slaw

10/6/00 Sebastian Inlet
was wall to wall mullet in the channel and around the north jetty Snook,
Tarpon, Reds, and Barracuda were slaying them but we caught none. Great being
out though!
10/21/00 Went to haulover
canal with my lady and she skunked me with 4 blackdrum to my 1. She kept
saying to sit on her side and I said naaa, but treid it a lil later and thats
when i got mine. I guess it was her day and she taught me a lesson lol
11//9 the
shrimp were running thick before dark at the Titusville baitshop then they
closed so went to HC to catch 5 more. (not gallons) Reds were hitting live
mullet early.
11/16/00
shrimp were running before dark at oakhill. stayed out till 1030 not much
traffic 3 gallons medium and large.
Went to
Oakhill 11/19 the weather was calm till just before dark and a beast of a
north wind blew me right off the water. so much for the noaa forcast! what a
waste!
11/24
caught one shrimp at oakhill and 0 at haulover no shrimp around to be found.
Just one of those nights.
12/7 Went
to oak hill and caught a gallon of medium to small. Tide flowed north at 10pm
left at 130am.
12/11 Went
to HC and dipped a dozen large to jumbo shrimp early evening Brad caught 10 to
my 2. Wind from the south @ 10 mph in the 70s. Watched a raccoon in heat
cornered on the edge of a limb while three males were checking her out. She
told them to get lost that she had a headache. Lots of small redfish and trout
but no biters. Didn't see another shrimp after 8pm but stayed till 1130
Went to
Oak Hill 12/16 and met Lee at the Riverbreeze ramp and we both dipped enough
to cover the bottom of our buckets.
Went to
Oak Hill 12/22 and caught 3 gallons mixed from 8pm to 4am wind was calm, 50
degrees, current change was at 930.
12/23 Went
to Oak Hill @ 1130- 430am and caught about 5 dozen shrimp. wind was variable
and mild. 57 degrees at first then 62 degrees around 3am. Slack tide @ 1100
current change around 1230
